New Strike 9 Location!

On Tuesday, 27th January, J.K. Rowling replied to LudicrousMonica on X with a new Strike 9 location: Ganley’s Irish Bar in Morden!

It’s our first London location we know of that will feature in the ninth book!

In her reply, J.K. said if we wanted to sit in the exact spot Strike and Robin do, find the coat of arms of Derry.

Ganley’s Irish Bar is located in the district and town of Morden, South London. It’s situated almost directly across the road from Morden Tube station on London Road.

According to a regular, the pub has a very good reputation for their Sunday Roast carveries.

We can imagine Strike having the ‘Monster Carvery.’

Strike fans on X have been excited about the fact that Strike and Robin will be sat in a pub, TOGETHER, considering what happened at the end of The Hallmarked Man.

The only other locations we have for Strike 9 so far have been The Waterfront pub in York and, from one of Rowling’s X header photos, Tower Alley and the Round Tower in Portsmouth.

Her other Strike 9 header photos have included one of a treehouse, one of dolls, and the current one, which is a charm bracelet of clues for the ninth book.

We have still yet to learn the title of the ninth book.
