The publication date for The Running Grave has officially been announced as 26th September 2023!
The Robert Galbraith twitter account announced the date:
JK Rowling retweeted the announcement, and also said ‘I love this one and I hope you do too!’
A publication date of 26th September means we will be reading The Running Grave only a little over a year after The Ink Black Heart first arrived in stores.
The book is currently listed on all major retailers as having a page count of 912, which is only a few pages shorter than Troubled Blood – another wonderfully hefty tome. It is now available to pre-order in hard copy, ebook and audiobook versions, on Amazon UK and Amazon US.
A press release on the Robert Galbraith website announcing the release date confirmed that there will be ten Strike & Ellacott books in total.
In further exciting news, it was also announced that the 10 year anniversary of The Cuckoo’s Calling will be marked by the release of a special illustrated edition of the book, the first in the Strike series. A publication date is yet to be confirmed. The press release tells us that ‘a year-long run of activity is planned’ to mark the anniversary including ‘a creative consumer campaign’.
With less than five months to go until The Running Grave’s publication we’re counting down the days!
