Last week, the TV crew for The Running Grave adaptation started a fundraiser to raise money for the Brain Tumour Charity, in memory of Strike’s previous 1st Assistant Director, James Blackwell, who sadly died of a brain tumour last year.
James was much loved by all the cast and crew and is deeply missed. The StrikeFans team were lucky enough to meet him during the filming of The Ink Black Heart in 2024.
The fundraiser was originally a private fundraiser for the crew, but is now available for public donations, so, if you’re able to, any donation to their fundraising page would be greatly appreciated.
