In the Cuckoo’s Calling, Evan Duffield is a famous musician and actor, as well as Lula Landry’s boyfriend. In The Strike Series, the BBC and HBO television adaptation, Evan Duffield is being played by actor Bronson Webb.
You might recognise Webb as Draco Malfoy’s friend in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, or from the opening scenes of Game of Thrones. He also appears in The Dark Knight and Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.

Watching after just finishing the book. While he is a fine actor, in my opinion he is nothing even remotely like the Evan character! Not in looks, attitude, voice, nothing, zilch, nada.
