This article says that filming will begin in London in the first quarter of 2024.

Other than confirming that Tom Burke and Holliday Grainger will return as Cormoran Strike and Robin Ellacott, there is no additional casting news given. However, Tom Edge has once again written the script and Sue Tully, director of both Lethal White and Troubled Blood, is set to return as director of The Ink Black Heart.

The article also confirms that the actor and screenwriter strikes currently taking place in the US should not affect it, as it is a British production.

We’ll bring you more news as soon as it’s available!

  1. Wow finally! Actually I am still reading the paperback version. This 6th book is my least favorite for now because of the dull difficult-to-read “chat” description. I wonder how BBC recreates those anonymous online conversations (perhaps unnecessary). Anyways, I still love Cormoran and Robin.

  2. I hope they’ll work with a cartoonist and/or game designer to incorporate the chat room conversations. If those aren’t included, it won’t do justice to the novel.

  3. I too struggled with the format and can force difficulties in bringing it to the small screen
