The Cormoran Strike books by Robert Galbraith (aka J.K. Rowling) are being adapted for television by Brontë Film and Television, to be aired on BBC One and HBO. The series will be called STRIKE (as opposed to the original title The Strike Series).
Tom Burke will be playing the protagonist, Cormoran Strike. Holliday Grainger will be playing Strike’s business partner, Robin Ellacott. You can see more castings in previous blogs, as well as blogs to come.
The recent issue of Radio Times magazine included a small insert about STRIKE, informing us that the the 7-episode series will air in August this year.
You can find out more details about the filming here.
I am overjoyed!
But… if I may… Am I the only one not considering Strike like the protagonist? I mean, I loooove him! but it really is about Strike AND Robin if not Robin AND Strike! I find the title a bit unfair tbh…
