Tony Landry from The Cuckoo’s Calling, the uncle of Lula Landry, is being played by the popular British actor Martin Shaw, who has been credited in over a hundred different roles in television.

He is best known for his performances in The Professionals, The Chief, Judge John Deed and Inspector George Gently TV series. Over the years, he has also acted on stage and narrated audiobooks and documentaries. He won awards for his role in the Broadway production of An Ideal Husband in 1996.
