Wollaston Close is the street in Elephant & Castle where suspect Donald Laing’s flat is located. Strike finds the place in a brochure (“Strata SE1, London’s most desirable residential property”) that he shows to Robin, who mistakenly thinks he is gloating about his property hunt with his girlfriend Elin, when in fact he is showing her the photo which matches the background of the photo of Laing on his JustGiving web page.
The building where Donald Laing lives is “a squat, shabby block of flats that stood a short distance from the Strata.” The Strata building is later described as “looming over the shabby old flats like an emissary from the future.”

The street is also near Corsica Studio, which features towards the end of the book.
