Older sister of Francesca and old friend of Freddie Chiswell. She was on the fencing team with Freddie but was replaced by Rhiannon Winn. Della Winn mistakes Robin (Venetia) for Verity, and Robin gets the impression that Della did not care for Verity. This impression is confirmed by Geraint Winn who says, “Truth to tell, Verity was a little bitch.” (Lethal White, Chapter 17)
