The Hallmarked Man Epigraphs

In an X post by J.K. Rowling on August 29th, 2024 – before the publication – we found out that at least one of the epigraphs for The Hallmarked Man would come from A Maid of the Silver Sea by John Oxenham, a novel which is set on Sark in the Channel Islands. She later revealed that the epigraphs for the book would come from five different sources.

The five epigraphs authors are: Robert Browning, John Oxenham, A.E. Housman, Matthew Arnold and Albert Pike.
