In The Ink Black Heart, the agency’s billionaire client in the Fingers case has a house on this street in Mayfair.

In Chapter 15, the client asks Strike to visit his house and replace a hidden camera that had been discovered and moved by his housekeeper. Strike calls Barclay to check on the current location of Fingers. Barclay informs him that Fingers and a friend have just gone into James Purdey & Sons, a gun shop on South Audley Street.

After Strike replaces the camera at his client’s home, he walks along South Audley Street to Richoux to read the paper and smoke at a pavement table.
South Audley Street was used as a filming location for the television adaptation of The Cuckoo’s Calling. You can read more about it and see some photos here.
