Christian Fisher is the founder of Crossfire Publishing, a small press in Exmouth Market, a street located in the London borough of Islington. He is a “young, trendy bloke,” as Leonora Quine describes him, and sure enough, Strike finds him to be “a slight, dandyish and bespectacled man of around thirty” with “wavy, shoulder-length hair” in “jeans, a waistcoat and a paisley shirt with a touch of frill around the cuffs.”
In his hunt for Owen Quine, Strike interviews Fisher at his office. It is through this meeting that Strike first learns of Bombyx Mori. Because Fisher received one of the advanced copies of the book, he is on Strike’s list of suspects.
