Allan Yeoman is the head of the creative talent agency AYCA, which is located in London’s West End. He was also Edie Ledwell’s agent. Along with Richard Elgar of Maverick Films, Yeoman hires the detective agency to discover the identity of the online troll Anomie, who relentlessly harassed Edie for years and continues to cause problems for the upcoming film based on The Ink Black Heart.

Yeoman is described as “bespectacled” and “pink-faced,” and looking “younger than his untidy white hair might have suggested.… His slightly baggy suit looked as though it was worn for reasons of comfort rather than style” (The Ink Black Heart, chapter 18).

Strike and Robin first meet Allan at the Arts Club, where he hires them to investigate Anomie.
