Here are the known filming locations, in the order they appear, for Episode 4 of Strike: The Ink Black Heart.

Denmark Street

After the bomb goes off, emergency vehicles are called to the office, and Denmark Street is cordoned off.  This was the first scene filmed on Denmark Street, in the late morning of 24th March 2024.

Kalendar Cafe, Swain’s Lane

Robin is taken by a policeman to see Strike and Pat, who have gone to a coffee shop.  This scene was filmed at Kalendar Cafe, Swain’s Lane, just down the road from Highgate Cemetery, on the morning of 22nd March 2024.

Yasmin’s House

Strike leaves the cafe to interview Yasmin at her family house. 

This was filmed at 53 Kent Avenue, Ealing.

YouTube clip of Darcy Bernard

Strike is doing some research on his computer and he comes across a YouTube clip of Darcy Bernard (Hannah Zoé Ankrah) playing the piano.

This was filmed in the afternoon of 26th April 2024, the last day of the shoot, at 2Northdown, a small comedy club on Northdown Street near King’s Cross.

Jago’s London flat

The exterior shots of Strike outside Jago’s London flat were shot in Lancaster Gate, Bayswater.  Strike is seen entering number 27.

After he leaves, he struggles down the street a few yards, and then sits on a step to smoke and speak to Robin.

The Bernard’s Flat

Darcy and Marcus Bernard’s (Tienne Simon) flat is located in a block in Gallery Gardens, Northolt.  Barclay is seen standing outside, speaking to Robin on the phone.

The interior scenes were also filmed at this location, in one of the ground floor flats.  Later, after speaking to Darcy, Barclay leaves and phones Robin from outside the building.

Ledwell House

Strike and Robin visit Grant Ledwell (David Westhead) at home.  This was filmed at The Hermitage, Wingate Road, Hammersmith.
