The BBC have released the first few publicity photographs for The Ink Black Heart and have confirmed that it will air on BBC One next month, December 2024.

This scene was filmed near Regent’s Park in February 2024.

This was taken outside the Hotel Café Royal, which the production used to film the first scenes of the book.

Tom Burke as Strike is seen walking down Denmark Street, a scene which was shot on 24th March 2024.

No precise broadcast dates have yet been confirmed, and there is no news yet about when the series might be expected to air outside the UK.
