The Court is a pub on Tottenham Court Road, a short walk from The Tottenham and Tottenham Court Road Station. In Career of Evil, Robin Ellacott sits by the window of the pub watching Spearmint Rhino, the strip club on the opposite side of the road, whilst doing surveillance on Platinum for a client.

Robin and Strike arrange to meet here over the phone. When he arrives, Strike is suspicious of a large man in a camouflage outfit sitting in a Japanese restaurant opposite, who we know, as the reader, is the killer.
