And Action! Cormoran Strike is back for a new adventure on BBC1 (TX in 2020). And it’s gritty. Tom Burke and Holliday Grainger are reunited for Lethal White, adapted from the book by Robert Galbraith (aka JK Rowling). Very proud to be on board again after the fun we had on the first series. More updates to follow. 12-13th October 2019: Filming took place at The Athenaeum, Waterloo Place, London.
Just a casual day with @iggplant in London. We visited Buckingham Palace, watched a new BBC spy series called Lethal White being filmed and got caught up in the Extinction Rebellion protests ☮️ pic.twitter.com/Z1sN8qn9Mg— Ross Slade (@TheRarmy_) October 12, 2019
14th October 2019: Holliday Grainger was seen filming at Nam Long Le Shaker restaurant on Old Brompton Road in Kensington, London. In the book, this is where Robin meets with Raphael, so we can assume that the same will happen in the TV series.

@thesagey on Twitter also posted this short video from the filming.
1st November 2019: Filming took place at the Uffington White Horse, a location you should be familiar with from the book.
Spoiler alert! Bit late for #HillFortsWednesday, but visiting Uffington Castle & the White Horse today, the @NationalTrust car park was full of @BBC folk, filming an episode of @jk_rowling‘s #Strike. They constructed a fake horse’s head near the car park. Who can tell them apart? pic.twitter.com/hRbMZTPNVI— IFAW_Camino (@2019Ifaw) November 1, 2019
4-8th November 2019: Filming took place at Dinton Park & Philipps House in Wiltshire.

24th November 2019: Filming took place on Denmark Street.
The Filming of the new Cormoran Strike mini series for the BBC was taking place in Denmark Street, I had to wait between takes to visit the guitar shops. You’ll have to take my word for it this is Tom Burke on set. pic.twitter.com/yLul3os77R— Graeme (@MrLangelo) November 24, 2019
Also that same day, vans were spotted on Lincoln’s Inn Fields, though this was possibly only the filming base for the cast and crew, as they were filming on Denmark Street for the entire day.
26th November 2019: Filming took place on Brick Lane in Shoreditch, London.
6th December 2019: The last day of filming.
Crack open the champers, because THAT’S A WRAP on Lethal White! (But more behind-the-scenes pics to come!) 🤩🎬 pic.twitter.com/Uu0fQp0w3D— Brontë Film and TV (@BronteFilmandTV) December 9, 2019
