On Saturday morning, 18 August 2012, Strike and Robin have plans to meet at Wembley Stadium station before heading off to an interview at Newbury Racecourse. Instead of walking to the Tube station from Denmark Street, Strike is forced to call a cab and have it drop him off at Warren Street Station due to the presence of fellow private detective Mitch Patterson.
