On 25th April 2020, J.K. Rowling revealed on Twitter that she was working on the sixth novel in the series. She tweeted that she was writing a scene with Strike sat in a crowded London bar in 2015.

In January 2020, Marilyn Manson posted on Twitter thanking J.K. Rowling for the flowers she had sent him, leaving fans wondering whether his music will be incorporated into one of the Strike novels, similar to what she did with Blue Oyster Cult in Career of Evil.
In an interview with Mark Billingham on 8th October 2020, Rowling said that the sixth Strike novel will involve a “much younger demographic” and will be a “very different investigation” to Troubled Blood.Go back
