Here are the known filming locations, in chronological order, for episodes 3 and 4 of Strike: Troubled Blood.

Louise Tucker Flashbacks

Strike and Robin interview Brian Tucker at his home. As he speaks, we see some flashbacks of his daughter Louise. The scene in which Louise is seen talking to her friends was filmed at Broadstone House in Vauxhall, London.

Louise is then shown walking along the edge of a park. This was filmed in nearby Albert Square, which has Albert Square Garden in the centre.

The Tottenham/Duke of York

After talking with Brian Tucker at his home, Strike declares himself in need of a pint, and he and Robin go to the pub. The scene was shot in The Duke of York on Rathbone Street, a location that has been used in previous series as Strike’s local, The Tottenham.

Embankment

Robin meets up with Izzy Chiswell to ask for her help with being granted an interview with Dennis Creed. They sit on a bench on the Embankment on the opposite side of the Thames from the Houses of Parliament.

Robin’s Flat

Strike is seen walking drunkenly toward Robin’s flat on the night of her dinner party. This scene was filmed on Lower Clapton Road, in east London.

Although we do not have an exact location for the flat used as Robin and Max’s, we know it is found in an old factory building located in East London.

After the dinner party, Robin follows the drunk Strike out of her flat where they have a row in an alleyway.  Again, this is on the Lower Clapton Road in East London.

Lucy and Strike Drive to Cornwall

The following day, Lucy drives a hungover Strike to Cornwall.  We see a shot of her car driving along an elevated section of the A40, at Westbourne Park.

Strike and Lucy Reach Ted and Joan’s by Boat

Towards the end of their difficult journey, Strike and Lucy are met by Dave Polworth and two friends and they cover the final stretch in a small boat. Again, these scenes were filmed in Port Navas in a shoot that went on until the early hours of the morning.

Beach Cave

After Joan’s death, Strike is shown retreating to a cave he has visited since childhood.  The cave used for filming is Holywell Cave (also known as St Cuthbert’s Cave) on Holywell Bay.  It’s on Cornwall’s west coast, about an hour’s drive from St Mawes.

Broadmoor

Robin drives Strike to Broadmoor to interview Dennis Creed.  The Land Rover is shown driving around the perimeter wall of the real Broadmoor Hospital in Berkshire.

Creed interview

Holloway Prison in North London, which has been closed since 2016, was used to film the scenes of Strike interviewing Creed. The same prison was used as a location in The Silkworm.

Archer Hotel

The scenes of the police investigating the well at the Archer Hotel were filmed at the Mildmay Social Club in Stoke Newington, London.

The American Bar at the Stafford Hotel

In the book, Robin and Strike meet Carl Oakden in the American Bar at the Stafford Hotel in St James’s, and these scenes were filmed in that location.

Estrela Bar

Max and Strike meet in a cafe bar to continue their discussion about Max’s new television role. This scene was filmed at Estrela Bar, a Portuguese restaurant and tapas bar on South Lambeth Road in London.

Skegness Train Station

After Christmas, Strike catches the train to Skegness, and Robin meets him with the Land Rover outside the station. These scenes were filmed on location in Skegness.

Skegness Beach

Robin and Strike have time to kill before Douthwaite returns to the Allardyce. They get fish and chips and eat them on the promenade overlooking the beach. This scene was filmed early one morning in February, a few metres south of the RNLI Lifeguard Station.

Allardice Hotel

In the book, the Allardice Hotel is on Scarbrough Avenue. For the television adaptation, the North Parade Hotel on North Parade was used to film both the exterior and interior scenes.

The scene showing Steve Douthwaite being interviewed by George Layborn was filmed in a pub called the Courthouse, which is on the corner of Roman Bank and Ida Road in Skegness.

Baxton’s Holiday Camp, Canvey Island

Piccadilly Arcade and Burlington Arcade

The final scenes of the show were filmed in two historic shopping arcades near Piccadilly.  Strike waits for Robin, holding the pony balloon, in Piccadilly Arcade, a Grade II listed building which runs between Jermyn Street and Piccadilly.

The perfume shop used is actually located in the older Burlington Arcade. It is located on the other side of Piccadilly, and runs between Piccadilly and Burlington Gardens.
