Youngest son of Jasper Chiswell, the result of an extra-marital affair which ended his first marriage to Patricia – mother of Freddie, Fizzy and Izzy. His mother is Ornella, a former journalist of Italian descent, with a penchant for rich older men, currently living in Sienna with an Italian Count.
 
Always an outsider from the rest of the Chiswells, Raff is good looking and charming, but with a bad boy reputation. He spent time in prison after killing a young mother whilst driving under the influence of Ecstacy.

Works briefly with Chiswell’s friend, Henry Drummond, but is sacked after being caught in flagrante with another member of staff, so currently working with Izzy in the constituency office. Unlike his sister, he is not aware that ‘Venetia’ is in fact an undercover detective.
