Career of Evil Nominated for National Television Awards!

Strike – Career of Evil has been nominated by the National Television Awards for the Best Drama award as well as best Drama Performance for Tom Burke (Cormoran Strike) and Holliday Grainger (Robin Ellacott). The show aired earlier this year on BBC One and is the third mystery in the Strike series adapted from the novels by J.K. Rowling.

The TV adaptation received huge critical acclaim and widespread positive reviews, with much praise for both Grainger’s and Burke’s performances as Robin and Strike.

The winners will be announced in January 2019, and they depend on public votes. You can vote for Career of Evil and Tom Burke or Holliday Grainger here.

The first mystery, Strike – The Cuckoo’s Calling, actually won the Best Drama award at the NTA’s last year!

If you missed the series, the complete DVD box set of all three mysteries is now available in both the UK and US.

It has been confirmed that the fourth mystery, Lethal White, will have a total of four episodes, as opposed to the usual two or three. According to Burke, filming will begin late next year.
