Strike: Troubled Blood in Pre-Production

After almost a year since the release of book 5, it was revealed last month that Strike: Troubled Blood is in pre-production!

According to unitedagents.co.uk, the fifth Strike mystery will have 4 x 60-minute episodes. The four episodes will be written by Tom Edge, who also wrote The Silkworm, Career of Evil and Lethal White. Sue Tully, who directed Lethal White, will return as director. The episodes will be released on BBC One and HBO.

Filming is set to start in January 2022, according to the Blair Partnership website.

We’re sure you’ll all be as excited as we’ll be to see Tom Burke and Holliday Grainger back on the screens as Cormoran Strike and Robin Ellacott!

  1. Cormoran and Robin sitting in the office before Barclay disturbs them, and perfume buying at the end

  2. I’ll be interested to see if the astrological content will be included in the filming.. I imagine it would be difficult to film.

  3. The name of some of the actors have now been revealed. Apart from Robin Askwith as the older Steve Douthwaite, do we know who is playing who?
I see Tom’s mum Anna Calder Marshall is also rumoured in the cast.
