J.K. Rowling has finished writing The Running Grave!

If you didn’t catch the news last month, J.K. Rowling revealed the title of the seventh Strike book to be The Running Grave.

Yesterday she announced that the book was finished by posting a photo of the manuscript on Twitter:

For The Ink Black Heart, the book was finished in December 2021 and was published on 31st August 2022. Troubled Blood was finished in January 2020 and was published in September 2020. This means there’s usually around an 8-month gap between finish date and publication date.

Going by this 8-month time gap, we could expect The Running Grave to be published anytime around October, give or take a month.
